The Aruban tax authority SIAD had the difficult task to inform the public and businesses on Aruba about how the new Sales Tax 'BBO' (implemented per January 1st, 2007) works and what the benefits are. This, of course, is not an easy job as new taxes are never embraced by consumers who have to pay more nor by entrepreneurs who will have to do extra work to collect, register and pay the taxes. This 'heavy' subject was presented by showing cartoons with a light-hearted, informative message. Even an controversial subject can be brought in a neutral way!
